PB MAT - ECSE

This program is designed to prepare students to work with young children, 0-5, with developmental delays and disabilities and their families and emphasizes family involvement, inclusive opportunities and collaboration.

 

Students accepted into the program have an earned baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and meet all admissions requirements for the Graduate School and graduate with course work leading to initial licensure in Early Childhood Special Education.

EXED 625 - Medical and Technical Aspects of ECSE (3) OR
  EXED 510 - Individual Behavior Intervention
EXED 626 or 627 - Practicum:  Infants/Toddlers or Pre-K (3)
EXED 650 - Student Teaching  (4) - (pre/co-requisite EXED 623)
IECE 614 - Individualized Behavior Intervention for Young Children (3)

  • Teacher Education Application (completed by the start of the first Fall semester)

    • Comprehensive Exams

NOTE:  Application will open January 15th and Review of completed application will begin March 1st.  Applicants can apply up to 6 weeks prior to the start of the semester.
