TESOL Minor / Freshmen Advising

FRESHMEN WHO DECLARED THE TESOL MINOR AT ORIENTATION -

Contact the Program Coordinator:  Dr. Katya Koubek [koubekex@jmu.edu] to schedule a meeting to create a Program Plan once you have declared the minor on myMadison.

If you did not declare the minor at Orientation and would like to Declare your minor before meeting with the TESOL Coordinator here are the steps.

NOTE:  New electronic process for declaring a Minor

Change or Declaration of Major and/or Minor

• Log into MyMadison, select Student Center.

• Select Major/Minor Change from the “Other Academic…” dropdown menu.

• To add a program of study select Add Major/Minor.

To narrow your search, select the plan type, change the criteria of plan description to contains and enter the beginning letters of the plan.

After the request is entered select Submit Request.  You have now declared the minor.
