EFEX Annual Welcome and Mandatory Induction Ceremony

Overview

 

At this ceremony we celebrate all of our students in our licensure programs and any students who have been fully accepted into teacher education since our last inducation will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Cap.

 

Any students who have completed professional development activities outside of their coursework will receive an award and be recognized.

 

Our new incoming Freshmen are encouraged to attend the ceremony and meet and interact with existing students.  

 

New Freshmen will also receive a t-shirt at the ceremony to welcome them to the EFEX Department and our licensure programs. 

 

Award for Professional Development Activities

Eligibility:  

Any student in an Educational Foundations and Exceptionalities teaching licensure program (SPED-Teaching, IECE and TESOL PK-12).

Purpose:  

To recognize professional leadership;

To broaden your professional experiences; and

To develop independent professional responsibility.

Requirements: 

Complete required number of activities at desired level; and

Activities must be beyond course requirements.
