This series of courses is designed to enable pre-service students at JMU to complete the approved Virginia Endorsement, which supplements most programs of studies leading to an initial licensure in education.
Students complete 4 courses and a practicum to complete the endorsement program and may be able to use their student teaching experience with the approval of the Program Coordinator in place of their practicum.
The graduate level coursework is offered entirely online.

EXED 560 - offered in Fall
EXED 565 (pre-req EXED 560) - offered in Spring
EXED 660 (pre-req EXED 560) - offered in Summer, 1st Block
EXED 665 (pre-reqs: EXED 560) - offered in Summer, 2nd Block
EXED 570 - Practicum (pre-reqs: EXED 560, 565, 660 & 665) - offered in Fall (may be waived if approved).
A Certificate of Completion will be issued upon completion of all courses.
